Arduino-based night return mechanism for passive solar trackers

<p>Solar trackers are support platforms that keep photovoltaic panels facing the sun by following from dusk to dawn. There exist active solar make use of motors and gears orientate towards sun; passive operate through differential heating fluid in tracking rack follow sun. Passive suffer lack a night return mechanism slow wake-up response mornings due limitations on surface inclination angle rack. This paper seeks address these issues proposing an Arduino-based for trackers. An energy-saving element such as ultra fabric manufactured WireKinetics Co. is installed west-side canister tracker. Before dawn, automatically heated this will force refrigerant vaporize cool east- side canister, forcing tracker face eastward before sunrise. The designed simulated using Proteus profesional. Simulation results show system can significantly optimize function trackers.</p>
